Key features:
Immersive 9.2-channel sound
The DRX-3.4 incorporates nine amplified channels and supports 9.2, 5.2.4 or 7.2.2 speaker configurations. Dolby Atmos and DTS decoding creates a three-dimensional sound field with precise placement of effects around and above the audience.
Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization and DTS Neural can also enhance conventional speaker systems and stereo content with a broader, more enveloping presentation.
Dirac Live room correction
Dirac Live analyses the speakers and acoustic behaviour of the listening room before applying precise corrections. Calibration can be carried out using the supplied microphone and a compatible mobile device, or from a computer with a suitable USB microphone.
8K HDMI 2.1 connectivity
Seven HDMI inputs and two HDMI outputs support video signals up to 8K at 60 frames per second and 4K at 120 frames per second. Compatibility with Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+ and HDR preserves contrast, brightness and detail in compatible content.
Designed for next-generation gaming
VRR synchronises the display refresh rate with the source, while ALLM automatically selects a low-latency mode. QFT further reduces transmission latency for smoother and more responsive gameplay.
Streaming and multiroom audio
The DRX-3.4 offers Wi-Fi, Ethernet, AirPlay 2, Chromecast, DTS Play-Fi and bidirectional Bluetooth. It is also compatible with Sonos and provides access to services including Amazon Music HD, Deezer, Spotify and Tidal.
Flexible system integration
A complete 9.2-channel pre-out section enables connection to external power amplifiers. Zone 2 and Zone 3 outputs support multi-zone installations, while the phono MM input allows direct connection of a compatible turntable.
Klipsch Optimize provides dedicated settings for selected Klipsch Reference Premiere speakers.
Conclusion
Combining immersive 9.2-channel amplification, Dirac Live calibration, advanced 8K connectivity and extensive streaming features, the Integra DRX-3.4 provides a refined and versatile foundation for a premium home cinema system.
