The PRIMARE A35.8 is an exceptionally powerful and flexible eight-channel power amplifier designed for uncompromising home cinema and high-fidelity music systems.

Eight powerful and flexible channels
The A35.8 delivers 150 watts per channel into 8 ohms, 300 watts into 4 ohms and up to 400 watts into 2 ohms at 1 kHz. It can therefore power demanding multichannel speaker systems with excellent stability, control and dynamic authority.
Independent bridgeable channel pairs
Each adjacent pair of channels can be bridged independently. This allows the amplifier to prioritise additional power for the front left, centre and right speakers while using the remaining channels for surround or height speakers.
In bridged operation, one channel pair can deliver up to 740 watts into 8 ohms or 750 watts into 4 ohms at 1 kHz.
From home cinema to high-end stereo
A single A35.8 can power 5.1, 7.1 and 5.1.2 systems. Combined with one or more A35.2 stereo amplifiers, it can form the foundation of 5.1.4, 7.1.2 or 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos and DTS installations.
Two A35.8 amplifiers can also support highly advanced 9.1.6 or 13.1 Auro-3D systems.

The largest power supply developed by Primare for this type of amplifier incorporates active power-factor correction and soft-clipping circuitry. Separate power connections feed each group of four amplifier modules through short, direct paths for stable and consistent energy delivery.
Optimised signal paths
The internal circuit arrangement keeps input, amplification and output paths short and uninterrupted. The modules are positioned to minimise electrical interference while maintaining even power distribution across all eight channels.
Balanced and unbalanced connectivity
Every channel has both an XLR balanced input and an RCA unbalanced input. This makes the A35.8 suitable for professional-grade balanced connections as well as conventional home audio and AV systems.
Intelligent control and protection
Automatic signal sensing can wake the amplifier from standby, while automatic standby activates after approximately 20 minutes without an input signal. Both functions can be configured according to the installation.
Trigger input and output and an RS232 port provide integration with AV processors, control systems and custom home cinema installations.
Internal LED indicators monitor clipping, DC detection and overheating conditions for each amplifier module.
