General Description
The Tangent PreAmp II is a compact preamplifier designed to accommodate all your sources with its analog and digital inputs. This Tangent PreAmp II preamplifier features a high-quality DAC ensuring music playback up to 24 bits / 192 kHz from its optical input. It also integrates a Bluetooth controller for wireless music streaming from a smartphone, tablet, or laptop. Finally, the Tangent PreAmp II easily connects to any power amplifier with its RCA and XLR outputs.
 
J-Fet Transistors 
Developed to harness the full musicality of your sources, the Tangent PreAmp II preamplifier uses quality components arranged to respect the audio signal path. It employs a low-noise power supply paired with a double J-Fet transistor, which increases gain while preserving all musical information and maintaining soundstage transparency.
 
24-bit / 192 kHz DAC
 The Tangent PreAmp II is designed to preamplify all your sources. Its analog section includes an RCA input and an auxiliary mini-jack input to connect a CD player or portable player, for example. The RCA input can be switched between line and phono levels, allowing a turntable connection. The digital section of the Tangent PreAmp II offers an optical input, ideal for connecting a network player or TV. The Tangent PreAmp II uses a Cirrus Logic DAC for optimal conversion of music up to a very high resolution of 24 bits / 192 kHz.
 
Bluetooth 
In addition to its analog and digital inputs, the Tangent PreAmp II preamplifier also features a Bluetooth controller by Qualcomm. This facilitates wireless music streaming from a smartphone, tablet, or computer. The range is about 10 meters, providing great freedom of movement.
 
RCA and XLR Outputs 
The Tangent PreAmp II is built around a sturdy metal chassis that effectively shields against electromagnetic interference. The front panel includes a headphone output for enjoying music without disturbing others. It also features a volume knob, which can be remotely controlled via an infrared remote. The remote also allows you to select the source and adjust bass and treble tones, enabling you to easily adjust the Tangent PreAmp II's sound signature to match your speakers or preferences.
