Key Features:
Immersive 7.2-channel sound
The DRX-2.4 supports conventional 7.2-channel systems as well as 5.2.2-channel Dolby Atmos and DTS:X installations. Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization and DTS Neural:X create a wider, more enveloping soundstage from compatible speaker configurations.
Integra amplification
Its low-impedance amplification system delivers 80 watts per channel into 8 ohms, with two channels driven. A custom transformer, carefully selected audio components and a non-phase-shift amplifier topology provide controlled, cohesive sound for films, music and gaming.
HDMI 2.1 and 8K video
The first three HDMI inputs support 8K/60 Hz and 4K/120 Hz video. Gaming features include Variable Refresh Rate, Auto Low Latency Mode and Quick Frame Transport for smoother motion and reduced latency. The main HDMI output supports eARC for high-resolution audio from a compatible television.
Dirac Live room correction
Dirac Live analyses the listening environment and corrects acoustic irregularities to improve tonal balance, clarity and spatial precision. Calibration can be performed using the supplied microphone or a compatible computer-based measurement system.
Connected music and multi-room audio
The receiver supports AirPlay 2, Chromecast built-in, DTS Play-Fi and Works with Sonos integration. Compatible streaming services include Amazon Music HD, Spotify, TIDAL, TuneIn and Deezer.
Bidirectional Bluetooth
Bluetooth reception enables wireless playback from a smartphone or tablet. Transmission mode can send audio to compatible wireless headphones using SBC, aptX or aptX HD.
Custom-installation flexibility
Powered Zone 2, Zone 2 pre-out, RS-232, IR and 12 V trigger connections facilitate integration into advanced home-entertainment systems. Klipsch Optimize Mode provides dedicated crossover presets for compatible Klipsch Reference Premiere speakers.
Conclusion
The Integra DRX-2.4 combines immersive 7.2-channel sound, advanced 8K video connectivity and professional-grade room correction in a versatile receiver. It is particularly well suited to premium home cinemas, gaming installations and integrated multi-room systems.
