Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer Gen 2 smart glasses with clear-to-grey Transitions® lenses, 12 MP camera and 3K video – Matte black, standard... 1 year warranty
Overview
Step out of a café into the afternoon sun and the clear Transitions® lenses gradually darken to grey. When a scene catches your eye, a press of the capture button records it from your point of view. The matte black Wayfarer frame brings these two everyday benefits together in a familiar, standard-size design.
The speakers sit in the temples, leaving your ears open to conversation and ambient sound. Pair the glasses with a compatible phone to take calls, play a favourite track and import photos or videos using the Meta AI app.
Key features
One pair for indoors and outdoors. The photochromic lenses stay clear indoors and darken outdoors in response to UV light. Their grey tint suits bright daylight, while the classic Wayfarer shape keeps the same look throughout the day.
Capture what you actually see. The ultrawide camera sits at the corner of the frame. Press the button to photograph a scene or record a vertical clip as you move, keeping both hands available between shots. The outward-facing capture light lets people nearby see when recording is active.
Listen while staying present. Speakers direct sound towards your ears while leaving the ear canal open. Use the touchpad on the temple to change volume or control playback. Five microphones pick up speech for calls and voice commands.
From glasses to phone. Store captures on the glasses and import them into the Meta AI app when you are ready to edit or share. Voice features depend on the country and language; a compatible smartphone and Meta account are required for setup.
Recharge between outings. The included case stores the glasses and tops up the battery between uses. Up to eight hours per charge is quoted for moderate use; frequent recording or calls reduce runtime.
